With over 15 years of experience as a Gamemaster - leading countless adventures for friends, family, and colleagues - my passion has always been about creating unforgettable experiences around the table.

My journey to founding Pen and Board has been a unique one; blending diverse experiences that have shaped my ability to bring worlds to life in the imagination. With a background in engineering, I bring a structured approach to understanding game mechanics, while my time as a secondary mathematics teacher taught me how to explain complex ideas in clear, engaging ways. Perhaps most importantly, my years in retail for a large games company gave me hands-on experience teaching games to everyone from 8-year-olds to 80-year-olds, and orchestrating large-scale gaming events. I genuinely love introducing people to the joy of games!
