How It Works: Booking with Pen and Board
We make it easy to bring the magic of tabletop roleplaying to your next event! Here's a step-by-step guide to booking your unforgettable in-person experience with Pen and Board:
1. Choose Your Adventure Type and Setting​​
Browse our Gaming Sessions or Events and choose your desired package, setting and game system for your adventure.
2. Location, location, location
Determine where your adventure is going to take place in the real world. If it is Private residence (your home) then the Gamemaster will simply bring the adventure to you. Our Gamemaster is DBS checked, and will abide by our Code of Conduct to add a level of reassurance to you.
If it is a public, or private venue, then please seek permission if required before hand.
3. Tailored Proposal​
​We'll discuss your vision and provide a personalized quote. For Stag/Hen Do's, Wedding Events, and Corporate Team Building, we will work closely with you to design a truly bespoke experience.
2. Reach out
​Contact us via our Booking Request form, or email, with your chosen adventure type, preferred date(s), estimated group size, gaming location, and any special requests.
4. Confirm Your Booking​
Once you're happy with the proposal, we will send you an invoice for payment. For Events, due to the significant preparation, travel arrangements, and/or work commitments made by our Pen and Board Gamemaster; a non-refundable deposit may be needed to secure your date.
5. Pre-Game Prep (We Handle It!)​
Relax! Your Pen and Board Gamemaster will handle all the heavy lifting. This includes character creation (pre-generated options available!), preparing all necessary game materials, and crafting the adventure. We'll communicate any pre-game details you need to know and any requirements the Gamemaster will require, ensuring a smooth and exciting start.
6. Experience the Adventure!​
On the big day, our Gamemaster arrives ready to transport you and your guests into an incredible world of imagination. Just gather your friends, bring your enthusiasm, and prepare for an unforgettable adventure filled with laughter, challenges, and heroic moments! All equipment will be set up and cleaned away by the Gamemaster.
