At its heart, a TTRPG is a collaborative storytelling adventure, like a video game. Instead of playing on a computer, you and your friends sit around a table and use your imaginations to create a shared story. One person, commonly known as the Gamemaster (GM) or Dungeon Master (DM) , acts as the narrator, world-builder, and referee. They describe the world, the people you meet, and the challenges you face, while you and the other players decide what your characters do. The rules of the game and a roll of the dice help determine the outcome of your actions and help shape the collective narrative.

At Pen and Board we bring the excitement of Tabletop Roleplay Games to you with our professional Gamemaster Services. An enhanced experience with immersive sound, dynamic lighting, and detailed miniatures and terrain to bring the adventure to life. We handle all of the preparation, our Gamemaster will come to your venue of choice, be it your home, a quite corner of your local pub (with permission) or a dedicated event space. Discuss before hand and we will make sure that any venue has adequate space for your chosen activity.

Our Gamemaster will provide all equipment and resources required to run the session, and they will set up and clean away, all you need to bring is yourselves and your imagination.​

Choose from a variety of different Gaming Sessions, from one off experiences to longer running regular campaign sessions, or choose from our Event Packages and plan something truly unforgettable.

All packages cater for a minimum age of 8 years and above; the following conditions apply for under 18's players:

8-13 years old - an adult chaperone or player needs to be present at the table for the session.

13-18 years old - an adult needs to be present within the venue or at the table for the session​.
